Several health screenings will be available this Saturday during the 24th annual Health Initiative for Men and Women.
The event, sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Rome and Northwest Georgia, is from 8 a.m. until noon at the Floyd County Health Department.
It is FREE to all men and women in Rome and surrounding areas, and some of the state’s top health care professionals will be on hand ready to assist.
Available services include cholesterol and glucose checks, blood pressure and body mass index screenings, prostate and colorectal screenings, HIV testing, and hands-on CPR training.
