One person was killed and another seriously injured in a wreck on Blacks Bluff Road near the Alabama State Line on Wednesday.
According to Floyd County Police, the single-vehicle crash occurred around lunchtime.
Authorities are looking into the possibility that it may have resulted from a medical emergency.
A passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
