-News Release-
Tickets are now available for the 23rd Annual Empty Bowls event, a cherished Rome community tradition that brings people together through food, art, and generosity. Hosted by the Georgia’s Rome Welcome Center & Gift Shop, this year’s event will take place Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rome Civic Center.
Guests can enjoy a delicious meal featuring a variety of soups, salad, bread, and cookies, generously donated by local restaurants. Each meal includes a handcrafted bowl created by a regional potter—a one-of-a-kind keepsake that serves as a reminder of the event’s mission to support the community. Attendees will enjoy live music from Broadstreet Legit, adding to the festive atmosphere of this community gathering. Guests may dine in or take advantage of the convenient drive-thru pickup option. All proceeds from this year’s Empty Bowls event will benefit the Salvation Army.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring canned food donations for the Community Kitchen. For every can donated, participants will receive one ticket for a chance to win a door prize during the event. This additional opportunity allows guests to extend their generosity to another important community resource while enjoying an evening of food and fellowship.
