Woman Charged with Possession
A woman was arrested on Saturday for two felony counts of possession.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
35 year old Carrie Vega was arrested on Saturday after being found to be in possession of 60 Oxycodone pills and over an ounce of marijuana.
Vega has been charged with two felony counts of possession. Possession of over an ounce of marijuana and possession of a schedule II substance.
Man Arrested for Blocking a Car and Hitting a Car with a Crowbar
A man was arrested on Friday in south west Rome for battery, false imprisonment, and disorderly conduct.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
20 year old Mike Otero was arrested on Friday after preventing a woman from leaving his driveway in her car by standing in front of the car. He then attempted to hit the car with a crowbar and attempted to fight one of the victims of the attack after being restrained by this victim.
Man Arrested for Possession and Driving without a License
A man was arrested on Friday in South Rome for possession of meth, possession of under an ounce of marijuana, and for driving without a license.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
49 year old Michael Holtzclaw of Cedartown was arrested on Friday south of Downtown Rome after being found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, a joint containing less than an ounce of marijuana, and for driving without a license.
Man Arrested for Lying about Involvement in Hit and Run
A man was arrested in north east Rome on Friday and was charged with a felony count of false statement or writings.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
34 year old Jesstin Emell Washington was arrested on Friday after giving false information to a police officer as it pertained to a hit and run incident. It was later found that he was the driver in the incident.
