Report: Man assaulted woman with knife on Ashland Park Boulevard

A Rome man has been arrested and charged in an alleged burglary and assault.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

28-year-old Marcus Lee Brown Jr. entered a residence on Ashland Park Boulevard and used a knife to assault a woman, who sustained a serious bodily injury.

Brown is charged with 1^st-degree burglary, aggravated assault, and a probation violation.
