WRGA Staff Reports –

The Georgia Council for the Arts has announced more than $1.3 million in grant awards for Fiscal Year 2026, funding 177 arts and cultural projects across 49 counties.
In Northwest Georgia, several local organizations received funding through the General Operating Support Grant.
These include the Rome YMCA in Floyd County, the Paradise Gardens Foundation in Chattooga County, and Woodland High School in Bartow County.
The grants will help sustain ongoing programming and operations that promote the arts in their communities.
Funding is intended to strengthen local communities, support tourism, create employment opportunities, and expand access to cultural experiences.
Additional grant opportunities are expected to open in the fall of 2025.
