A fight that began at the Waffle House on West Avenue in Cartersville ended with the arrest of a Taylorsville man on a felony aggravated assault charge over the weekend.
According to a Cartersville Police Department report:
29-year-old Bryceton Taylor Abernathy was yelling at a woman, and the woman’s brother started yelling at Abernathy.
The group paid for their food and went outside, where the men started pushing one another and possibly throwing punches.
As Abernathy was leaving, the woman walked over to his truck window and started yelling at him.
Abernathy responded by assaulting the woman, leaving red markings on her neck.
