On September 1, the Cartersville Police Department received information from a mandated reporter regarding suspected child abuse.
As a result of the investigation, the Criminal Investigations Division arrested Quisean Witherspoon on September 9.
Witherspoon is charged with aggravated battery and 1st-degree cruelty to children.
He is currently housed at the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office.
