Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 140 and U.S. Highway 41 in Bartow County on Tuesday at 9:55 p.m.

A white Toyota 4Runner, traveling north on U.S. 41 in the left turn lane toward State Route 140, failed to obey a traffic signal and yield the right of way, turning left into the path of an oncoming Bartow County school bus.

A WBHF listener reported the school bus had the green light.

The school bus, traveling south on U.S. 41 in the right lane, carried 12 students from the Adairsville High School volleyball team.

The front of the 4Runner struck the front left of the bus, disabling both vehicles.

One student reported injuries, and her parents transported her to a local hospital.

Another student and the bus driver, who reported a shoulder injury, received medical evaluations at a facility.

The pregnant driver of the 4Runner, accompanied by her husband, also sought treatment at a local hospital.
