Floyd County Board of Education meets Monday

The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to approve a contract amendment with Performance Services for the Model and Pepperell Field House projects in the amount of $7.65 million when it meets on Monday.

Other agenda items include the appointments of Ballard Betz as the Model parent representative and Linda Tinney as the Pepperell High representative on the Floyd County College and Career Academy board.

The school board is also expected to approve a $146,000 bid from Veritiv Operating Company as the district’s copy paper vendor for the 2025–2026.

Board members will hear about the August and September Energy Charts, approve the financial reports, and discuss any changes in personnel.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the central office on Riverside Parkway.
