Let’s do the time warp again! “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a shadow cast returns to the Rome Little Theatre this October.
Released in 1975, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is the beloved musical comedy horror film that became a cultural phenomenon. The film is a tribute to the science fiction and horror movies of the 1930s through the early 60’s and has gained a passionate, worldwide fan base. RLT encourages patrons to embrace the spirit, dress up as their favorite characters, participate in the interactive elements, and fully immerse themselves in this extraordinary experience.
A “shadow cast” of RLT’s actors will perform alongside the film while patrons sing and dance along. Participation prop kits are included in the ticket price.
While RHPS is a fun production, it is not for the easily offended. The film is rated R (Under 18 requires accompanying parent or guardian) and parental discretion is advised (adult themes of strong sexual nature, personal freedoms/lifestyles, and strong language).
The show runs Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25. Doors open at 7:00 pm. The show starts at 8:00 pm. For tickets, visit romelittletheatre.com
