A Gordon County man was recently arrested after a shooting was reported at a residence on Rock Creek Road.
According to Gordon County Sheriff’s Mitch Ralston:
Deputies were dispatched to the home regarding a woman who’d suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigating detectives then discovered a large amount of methamphetamine as well as over 60 illegally held firearms.
The woman who’d been shot did not cooperate with the detectives and remains hospitalized.
54-year-old Marty Worley was arrested at the scene on drug trafficking and weapons violation charges.
He remains in jail pending bond.
The investigation is active with additional arrests and charges pending.
