Woman charged with influencing a witness
An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is facing a felony count of influencing a witness.
According to jail records:
25-year-old Elitha Gage Lindsey contacted the victim by telephone from the jail, in violation of a no-contact order.
She then misled the victim into thinking that not appearing in court would benefit her.
Lindsey has been in jail since September 8 for a probation violation.
Woman facing drug charge
A Rome woman was arrested Wednesday on a felony warrant charging her with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
According to the warrant:
32-year-old Jimmya Brequel Brown was found in possession of THC Wax and approximately 15 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop on Dodd Boulevard back on October 8.
