The Rome City Board of Education has accepted the resignation of Main Elementary Principal Dr. Katie Thomas.
The resignation was accepted during the board’s meeting on Tuesday.
According to a news release:
Rome City Schools has established a Central Office Support Team to assist during the transition so our students, staff, and families continue to receive the highest level of service.
Rome City Schools will start the search process for a new principal soon.
