A Rome man is facing a felony drug charge following his arrest at his Worsham Street residence on Monday.
According to an arrest warrant:
46-year-old Sheldon Veronteshon Whatley was found with a THC vape on Saturday at a location on Maple Avenue.
Whatley is charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
He is also charged with DUI, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, four counts of misdemeanor obstruction, giving a false name or date of birth, and a probation violation.
