-Staff reports-

The City of Rome will mark the completion of a 2013 special purpose, local option sales tax project on Tuesday.
A ribbon-cutting at Unity Point is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday.
It was originally scheduled for last week but had to be rescheduled due to rain.
Unity Point is at the confluence of where the Etowah and Oostanaula Rivers form the Coosa River.
Money was included in the 2013 SPLOST package to rehabilitate the site, which has been the victim of erosion from the flow of the river.
