The first widespread hard freeze of the season is expected on Tuesday morning.
Temperatures of 20 to 28 degrees are possible (even colder in the higher elevations in North Georgia.
With the wind chill, temperatures will feel like they are in the teens, so make sure kids are bundled up for the bus stop.
Remember the four P’s:
Pets – Keep your pets indoors where it’s warm and dry
Pipes – Cover and protect exposed water pipes
Plants – Bring any outdoor plants inside
People – Check on neighbors and friends
