The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the community that applications for the 2025 Sheriff Santa program will close this Friday, November 21.
The Sheriff Santa Program is dedicated to providing holiday cheer to children in Floyd County whose families may need extra support this Christmas season.
In partnership with Toys for Tots and with the generous help of local businesses and individuals, the Sheriff Santa Program assists children ages 13-16 (and older if special needs), while Toys for Tots serves children 12 and under.

Application Requirements Include:
- Proof of Floyd County residency (Georgia driver’s license or ID, and/or utility bill)
- Proof of the child’s age (birth certificate)
- One application per child
- No duplication of services (applicants cannot participate in other holiday assistance programs such as Angel Tree, Hope for Christmas, etc.)
Gift Pickup
Pickup will take place on the morning of December 13, 2025, at 2526 New Calhoun Hwy, Rome, GA 30161. Applicants must present ID matching their registration.
