The car park on 3rd Avenue in downtown Rome now has more to offer than a parking spot, as Rome’s “Rome is” campaign has unveiled a new mural on the ground floor.
This mural was a collaborative piece between four different artists at Rome’s office of Tourism. Artists Kristi Kent, Camryn Roper, Ann Hortman, and Madison Ingram all pitched in on the project and after 93 hours, the mural was complete.
The “Rome is” campaign seeks to encourage young people to live and work in Rome, and celebrates local artists such as the women who created the mural.
