Two men accused of entering outbuilding on Biddy Road
Two Bartow County men have been charged in a burglary on Biddy Road, off of Highway 411, on Wednesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
52-year-old Carey Ray Nalli of Euharlee and 59-year-old Willie Ernest Stutler of Cartersville entered an outbuilding on the property with the intent to commit a theft.
They were found in possession of a small hammer and a crowbar.
Both men are charged with 2nd-degree burglary, criminal trespass, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Stutler is additionally charged with misdemeanor obstruction for running from police and forcing them to search for him.
Men accused of stealing tractors
Two men have been arrested on felony warrants charging them with theft by taking.
According to the warrants:
51-year-old Jason Matthew Stewart of Cave Spring and 58-year-old Travis Leslie Patterson of Rome took two tractors and a trailer from TYM Tractors on Cedartown Highway on May 20.
The tractors were valued at $15,000 each.
The trailer is valued at $1,500.
Traffic stop leads to drug arrests
A traffic stop on Highway 293 at Wilshire Road ended with the arrest of two men on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
34-year-old Casey Daniel Raines of Calhoun was seen using his cell phone while driving.
During the traffic stop, a K9 indication led to a search that turned up crack cocaine and a glass smoking device.
Raines and a passenger, 56-year-old Wallace Tyrone Office Jr., are both charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug-related objects.
Office was then found with suspected methamphetamine and glass smoking devices while in the booking room at the jail.
He is additionally charged with possession of meth, possession of drugs by an inmate, and possession of drug-related objects.
Man charged with meth possession
A Rome man was arrested at his Price Road home on Thursday and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
62-year-old Kenneth David Price was found with suspected methamphetamine on May 8.
He is also charged with a probation violation.
