A Rome man is facing multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant at his Orchid Place residence.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
53-year-old Phillip Gregory Dixon had 100 tablets of MDMA, cocaine, marijuana, 28 alprazolam pills, a THC vape, digital scales, and two firearms, one of which had been reported stolen.
During his arrest on Martha Berry Highway, Dixon was found with marijuana that was packaged in two bags, which he tried to hide by dropping it on the ground and kicking it under a patrol vehicle.
Dixon was also in possession of a large amount of cash.
He is charged with trafficking a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of a Schedule I controlled, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, possession of drugs not in the original container, tampering with evidence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property, and driving with suspended registration.
