Report: Man uses vehicle to hit another man
A Rome man was arrested on Tuesday on a felony aggravated assault charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Jorginho Goncalves Lobo used his vehicle as a weapon by striking a 40-year-old man with it.
The incident occurred at Lobo’s Blacks Bluff Road residence.
Man accused of entering vacant building
A homeless man is facing a 2nd-degree burglary charge following his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Byron Lavoy Garrett Jr. entered a vacant building on North Fourth Street in Lindale.
He remained inside the structure with the intent to live there.
