-Floyd County Jail records-
A West Rome woman was arrested at her Williamson Street residence on a felony warrant charging her with trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
32-year-old Summer Chantel Burdette possessed over two ounces of meth at a residence on Flannery Street in October of 2025.
She also sold more than three ounces of meth to a cooperating witness.
The transaction was witnessed by several officers.
As law enforcement officers were attempting to serve the warrant on Thursday, Burdette attempted to avoid arrest by trying to hide in a pile of clothes.
She is additionally charged with the sale of methamphetamine and five counts of obstruction of officers.
