-Floyd County Jail records-
A man from Callahan, Florida, was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday on charges of grooming a minor and obscene internet contact with a child.
According to the arrest warrants:
58-year-old Donald Lawrence Nichols discussed sex acts via text message with someone he believed to be 14 years old between May 28 and June 15.
He attempted to coerce the person to engage in a sexual offense, the warrant states.
