A man wanted for murder in Floyd County was taken into custody on Tuesday evening in Cherokee County, Georgia.
Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Towle, Deputy Bowerman, Deputy Dempsey, and Deputy Jolly, with crucial assistance from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, safely apprehended 34-year-old William Roger Caver of Woodstock.
According to the arrest warrant:
Caver shot and killed Christopher D. Freeland on August 5.
The shooting occurred at an undisclosed location in Floyd County.
Caver remains in the Floyd County Jail on the felony murder charge.
