Savoy to host Connections Car Show on Saturday

It’s time for The Connection Car Show.

The Connection is all about bringing people together through a shared appreciation of automobiles, community, and culture.

All 350 show car spots have officially sold out.

This open-class event will showcase a wide variety of vehicles spanning different makes, models, and eras. In addition to the individually registered show cars, select car clubs have been invited to participate by displaying up to two featured vehicles from their membership.

But it doesn’t stop there. This year, we’re also featuring a special display of micro cars that is sure to capture the attention of both kids and adults. These unique, pint-sized vehicles offer a fun look at automotive innovation and are certain to be a crowd favorite.

One vehicle will earn the coveted Savoy’s Choice Award, while 20 others will take home a People’s Choice Award and an RTIC cooler.

The winner must be present at the award ceremony.

Use the voting QR code posted around the Showgrounds to vote for your favorite vehicle.

Whether you’re spending an hour or the entire day exploring the show field, a variety of food and beverage options will be available to keep you fueled for the fun.

The Pavilion is a great option for catching some shade while enjoying a meal.

Thanks to ACME, kids can enjoy a hands-on make-and-take activity. It’s a fun way for younger guests to get creative and leave with a special souvenir from the show.

Model car kits are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests are invited to browse our automotive book and exhibit prop sale. A selection of automotive-related books and items from past museum exhibits will be available for purchase while supplies last.

You will find the books inside the museum near the entrance and the props in the Presentation Theatre.
