Saturday featured painting, music, and local vendors in downtown Rome with the Rome Fiddlin’ Fest and the Plein Air Showcase.
The Plein Air Showcase is an annual event where local artists take to broad street to put the essence of Rome to canvas. With artists creating their works and later selling them at the event.
As the painters painted, the musicians played at the Fiddlin’ Fest on a stage in the middle of Broad Street. With multiple musical artists set to play. Up and down the street, local businesses and vendors sold food, drinks, and all manner of items to festival-goers.
Alongside the musicians, artists, and local businesses was a car show. Car enthusiasts gathered behind the stage where rows of cars lined the streets with their hoods up.
