One person was transported to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center following a collision involving a pedestrian and an 18-wheeler on Tuesday morning.
According to Rome Police:
The call came in at 6:10 a.m. at the intersection of Turner McCall Boulevard and Broad Street.
The male pedestrian is currently being treated for his injuries, and no additional details are available at this time.
Police were able to quickly clear the scene, and the road was back open by 7:30.
