Three women were arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop on East Second Avenue on Wednesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Police found 132 oxycodone pills and a small bag of marijuana.
During the traffic stop, two of the pills were thrown out of the window of the vehicle in an attempt to evade arrest.
67-year-old Donna Faye Allison and 39-year-old Jill Marie Amaya, both of Aragon, and 53-year-old Alvina Lynn Martinez of Rome, are all charged with attempt or conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drugs not in the original container, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
