Friday afternoon the Rome Salvation Army kicked off their annual red kettle donation drive with a small celebration in front of the Hobby Lobby off of Shorter Avenue. The Rome Salvation Army received new leadership back in June of 2023 with Majors Hank and Eunice Harwell.
In the video above, WRGA’s Ethan Garrett spoke with Major Hank Harwell about their first red kettle campaign in Rome. Major Harwell also detailed the need for volunteers and donations for this year.
