According to an update from Floyd County Emergency Management, work has begun on the bridge near Brushy Branch on Blacks Bluff Road.
Immediate travel will be down to one lane to allow crews and equipment room to work in the 7100 block of Blacks Bluff Road.
Drivers should expect delays Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM while crews repair a collapsed shoulder.
The estimated completion time is expected to take two weeks.
