The Rome Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday on Camp Street in North Rome.
According to an incident report:
A man fired several shots at a vehicle during an argument.
There were two small children in the area when the shots were fired, but they were not injured.
The driver of the vehicle sped away.
Police were later able to locate the driver and confirmed that he was not injured.
Five 9mm shell casings were recovered from the roadway in front of a home on Howell Street.
