You may have noticed the message boards that have been set out in a couple of areas announcing the closure of a portion of Turner McCall Boulevard beginning on May 6.
Beginning this coming Monday night, Turner McCall between Martha Berry Boulevard and North Fourth Avenue will be closed to facilitate the installation of a new water main associated with the Second Avenue roadway improvement project.
The closures may last up to five days and will be nightly, meaning they should not disrupt the daytime flow of traffic.
The contractor has a permit from the Georgia Department of Transportation that allows the closure from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
