Although Election Day was Tuesday, the campaign continues in some Northwest Georgia Counties as runoff elections are set for June 18.

In Polk County, two county commission posts are headed to a runoff.
Incumbent Jordan Hubbard and Michael Gravett will face off again in District 1, while John Pachal and Ray “Slugger” Carter are in a runoff in District 3.
In Chattooga County, there will be a runoff for coroner between Savanna McGill and Jeremy “Big Mac” McElhaney.
A runoff will not be needed in the Republican Primary for Chattooga County Commissioner as incumbent Blake Elsberry lost to Andy Allen by a margin of 60 to 40 percent.
